Annamrita Nellore Chapter – “Bringing smiles to the lives of Young Children” Nellore Chapter is a not-for-profit, non-religious , non-sectarian public charitable trust associated with Annamrita a prestigious project of ISKCON Food Releif Foundation registered under Bombay Public Trusts Act(1950).It is set up on 1st October 2008 with a memorandum of Understanding signed between three major stakeholders namely “ISKCON Food Releif Foundation”,”State Government” and “District Education Department” Annamrita serves meals without any bias on the basis of caste ,creed , religion or gender. Along with Nellore chapter Annamrita also has its presence in 8 states in India.

How it all started

Nellore Chapter started on 1st October 2008 with a memorandum of Understanding signed between three major stakeholders namely “ISKCON Food Releif Foundation”,”State Government” and “District Education Department” .

It started in 1.5 Acres land located at Bhaktavastala Nagar with a buildup area of about 1,12,000 Sq.ft. It has a CentralizedKitchen with a cooking capacity of 1,00,000 meals .It is even planning to renew the exisiting facilities and would like to procure new equipments as well.Till Today Annamrita reached to over 115 schools and is serving an eclectic meal to almost 25000 meals per day
